Brazil is going through one of the worst economic crises in its history. In 2015, the youth unemployment rate among 18 – 24 years old was 17% and continued to increase in 2016.
Softex, the Brazilian agency for promotion of technology, created a national program to train young professionals so they can have better chances in this difficult job market. Global Social was responsible for coordinating all marketing strategies, including the website with online learning initiatives, webinars, social media campaigns and mobile apps.
Brasil Mais TI became the biggest online training program in Brazil and one of the biggest in the world, offering free courses in English, Spanish and Portuguese for teenagers with a poor background. More than 293.000 students are registered in 130 countries and 657.000 courses are in progress.
