According to UNESCO, every day, 154 people die by some violent crime in Brazil, resulting in almost 54.000 casualties only in 2013. The number is three times higher than the World Health Organization stipulated as “Epidemic of Violence”.
The Pro-Victim project was created by a small nonprofit in Brasilia to protect and support victims of crime and their families. Global Social was responsible for marketing the project in all digital and offline platforms and create awareness in all media outlets.
Because of the outreach, our team recruited enough sponsors to turn the program national, thus helping more than 25,000 people. The project received an award by Fundação Getulio Vargas and has been copied as a model by other Latin American countries including Mexico and Guatemala.
